Only two steps, and you own a piece of KION: First, you open a bank account and deposit account at Deutsche Bank, then you buy your share packages. The account and deposit must be opened by the beginning of October.

Step 1: Account & Portfolio

Everything you need to know about account opening

Your HR colleagues are happy to help you with opening the account:

Please fill out the opening document and bring it, in person, along with the needed documents (see below) to your HR department. Your HR colleague will help you fill out the forms if necessary – and on behalf of the bank, they will verify your signature (that’s why you need to go there in person). Afterwards, they will send the opening document to Deutsche Bank in Germany. That’s it!

Documents Needed

  • Application form
  • Photo ID/Passport
  • KGX Code
  • Section 431(1) ITEPA election sheet

You received the KGX Code in your personal information package together with the login data for the Deutsche Bank WebPortal. You can also find the KGX Code in the Deutsche Bank WebPortal under "My Profile".

As the partnering accounts by Deutsche Bank are exclusively intended for participation in KEEP 2019 and cannot be used for private funds or stock investments, an existing Deutsche Bank account cannot be used.

A deposit account with another bank also cannot be used for participation in KEEP 2019.

Opening and managing the banking account and deposit account are at no cost to you.

Step 2: Purchase Procedure

Everything you need to know about purchasing

Simply buy share packages online:

  • Go to the Deutsche Bank WebPortal and select "Declaration of Acceptance"
  • Select the desired number of share packages.
  • Then submit the declaration of acceptance. Done!
  • You receive confirmation about the purchase via e-mail, and the purchased shares are transferred into your portfolio.

The total amount due for the purchase of your share packages is withheld from your next net income - you don't have to do anything. Should this not be possible, the amount due will be distributed on up to three payroll cycles.
